Day Visitors
Villa Maroela Game Lodge welcomes all visitors to enjoy a day just to get away from everything. Bring the kids, to swim, play putt-putt and enjoy a game drive through the farm. See the Lions, Giraffe, Waterbuck, Red Hartebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Zebra, Impala, Ostrich and many more. Listen to the calls of the birds and fowl. Bring your basket! Have a braai! Relax and enjoy the bushveld!
Game
Villa Maroela Game Lodge is known for its pride of Timbavati white lions. Our breeding program consists of 2 breeding pairs. The young get sold and released onto larger farms where they can roam freely in the wild. Visitors get to see the lion and their cubs from a higher lookout point and if you are lucky you may witness the weekly feeding program – contact us to find out which days we feed.
We also have 500ha with different game such as Giraffe, Waterbuck, Red Hartebeest, Blue Wildebeest, Zebra, Impala, Ostrich and many more. Bird lovers will enjoy the many different species of birds that frequent the area

Facilities
Lapa
The lapa has enough seating area for 40 to 50 people with an enclosed braai area
Bar
A thatched open area comprises a cash bar, small swimming pool and braai area
Guests are welcome to relax here or sit on the grass surrounding the bar area. A jungle gym is close by for adults with small children
Boma
2 Bomas for lighting huge bonfires and braai areas are closed off from the wind and make a cozy entertainment area at night
Tree Boma
The Tree Boma is near the entrance to the Hotel and has a table around a huge Wild Fig Tree, with a basin and separate serving area. Serving breakfast here is always enjoyable when listening to the early morning calls of abundant bird life.
Hall
The Hall is ideal for functions and weddings for up to 150 people.
